Fortune reported that Puffdex Variational, a decentralized cryptocurrency perpetual futures exchange, secured a $50 million Series A investment. The investment will be used to secure market competitiveness through the introduction of real-world asset (RWA) tokenization and to transfer traditional financial liquidity on-chain. Variational's Series A round was led by Dragonfly Capital, with participation from Bain Capital Crypto, Coinbase Ventures, and others. Bain Capital Crypto previously participated as the lead investor in Variational's $10.3 million seed round.
