[Bulletin] Shinhan Card, verifies 6 key stablecoin and blockchain technologies

▲ Shinhan Card announced on the 9th that it has completed a Proof of Concept (PoC) for core technology tasks utilizing stablecoins and blockchain, laying the groundwork for next-generation payment innovation targeting the Web3.0 era. Shinhan Card formed strategic partnerships with global Web3.0 companies such as Solana and Fireblocks, domestic blockchain technology companies such as Aton and Block Odyssey, and global payment network operators, conducting large-scale technology verification. The six key tasks include: ▲Blockchain-based P2P payments ▲Integrated digital asset payment infrastructure ▲Stablecoin-based check/credit hybrid products ▲Stablecoin-based cross-border remittance and settlement ▲Verification of stablecoin payment, exchange, and settlement network ▲IC chip-based card-type hard wallet payment services. Shinhan Card added that this PoC proved the possibility of connecting existing card payment systems with the digital asset ecosystem, and that it plans to strengthen its competitiveness, including activating Korean Won stablecoins, in the future.
