Bizwatch reported that Focus AI, the largest shareholder of Busan Digital Asset Exchange (BIDAN), is pursuing the acquisition of coin exchange Flybit. The two companies are reportedly in final discussions over details such as the sale of shares by Flybit CEO Kim Seok-jin, the largest shareholder. Flybit registered as a Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP) in 2021 and continued its exchange operations, but withdrew from the KRW market due to its inability to secure a real-name account partnership with a bank.
