Joshua Riezman, Chief Legal and Strategy Officer at cryptocurrency market-making firm GSR, stated that the CLARITY Act, a cryptocurrency regulatory bill, has less than a 50% chance of being submitted to the President during the current congressional session. According to The Block, he said, "The possibility is currently less than 50%. But it's not 0%." He explained, "Stablecoin interest is not the only issue. Both parties have questions about Donald Trump and his family's involvement in the cryptocurrency industry. Whether this issue is addressed in the bill itself adds further complexity." He further emphasized, "If it doesn't pass this session, it is highly likely that the timing of its passage will be significantly delayed."
