Joseph Lubin, co-founder of Ethereum (ETH) and CEO of Consensys, an Ethereum infrastructure development company, stated in an interview with The Block that he "highly appreciates the Digital Asset Treasury (DAT, cryptocurrency strategic accumulation listed company) model, and a well-designed DAT can be utilized as 'long-term and permanent capital' for the Ethereum ecosystem." He further emphasized, "Companies like Strategy, Sharplink, and Bitmain can become long-term stewards of the Ethereum ecosystem. However, unlike programs driven by a sense of mission, 'imitative' DAT programs where strategically accumulated tokens themselves are vulnerable, actually harm the ecosystem." He also added regarding the quantum computing threat, "Ethereum already has quantum resistance implementation methods reflected in its extended roadmap. For the Bitcoin community, it would be good to set a clear deadline for applying solutions to vulnerable address types."
