U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Besant posted a strong message to the Iranian leadership on social media X on the 1st (local time). Secretary Besant stated that the Iranian leadership is in a state of information blockade and presented "reality". The points he listed were: △the United States has full control of the Strait of Hormuz △there is a shortage of hard currency (dollars) △food and gasoline have been switched to rationing △the entire international community has turned its back on Iran △the blockade will continue until freedom of navigation before February 27th is restored.
