According to a report by U.S. media outlet Axios on the 26th (local time), one U.S. official and two sources stated that the U.S. has received a new negotiation proposal from Iran, delivered via Pakistan. This proposal is largely similar to Iran's three-phase negotiation framework previously revealed by Lebanon's Al Mayadeen TV. The key agendas of the three-phase negotiation are, in order: △end of war △Strait of Hormuz issue △nuclear negotiations. According to Axios, citing two sources, Iran's new proposal primarily focuses on resolving the Strait of Hormuz crisis and addressing the U.S. blockade. As part of this plan, a ceasefire would be extended for a long term or both sides would agree to a permanent end to the war, and nuclear negotiations would only begin after the Strait of Hormuz is reopened and the U.S. blockade is lifted.
