According to Eleanor Terrett, host of Crypto in America, Ohio Republican Senator Bernie Moreno stated at an event in Washington D.C. that the Cryptocurrency Market Structure Act (CLARITY) "could be finalized by the end of May." Senator Moreno had previously mentioned last month that if the CLARITY Act is not passed by May, cryptocurrency legislation could be put on hold for the time being. Regarding the banking sector's opposition surrounding stablecoin interest issues, he said there is "a lot of noise in the system, but it's completely fake," and urged banks to "innovate."
