Amid the midterm elections in the United States on November 3 (local time), President Donald Trump once again endorsed pro-cryptocurrency Republican House Representative Harriet Hageman, Bitcoin.com News reported. Hageman is running against Democratic candidate James Byrd for the Wyoming Senate seat currently held by Senator Cynthia Lummis, who is not seeking re-election. Lummis has been a strong supporter of the cryptocurrency industry in Congress, and her term ends in January 2027. Hageman also voted in favor of the CLARITY Act (Cryptocurrency Market Structure Act), the GENIUS Act (Stablecoin Regulation Act), and the bill prohibiting the issuance of Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) in the House last July. On the 2nd, Trump stated about Hageman, "I fully endorse her and she will never disappoint you."
