Cryptocurrency custodian Anchorage Digital has selected LayerZero (ZRO) as its interoperability partner to support cross-chain functionality for stablecoins issued through its U.S. federally regulated bank, Anchorage Digital Bank. Tether's USAT is the first stablecoin issued by Anchorage Digital Bank to be launched using LayerZero's Omnichain Fungible Token (OFT) standard. In the future, stablecoins issued by Anchorage Digital Bank plan to expand their support to Ethereum, EVM-compatible networks, Solana, and more.
