The number of XRP withdrawal wallets has overwhelmed the number of deposit wallets, causing Coinbase's indicators to plummet to an all-time low.
According to crypto media outlet The Crypto Basic on August 5 (local time), the net inflow/outflow wallet indicators for XRP on Coinbase, Binance, and Crypto.com have all turned negative. Coinbase's 7-day net inflow/outflow wallet indicator recorded -10,900 on August 4. This means that the number of withdrawal wallets was 10,900 higher than the number of deposit wallets. The previous low was -3,200, recorded in June 2025.
Binance and Crypto.com have also remained in negative territory since July 17. Binance recorded a low of -2,550 on August 4, its lowest since June 2025. The low at that time was -4,380. Crypto.com fell to -2,290, but this was higher than its June 2025 low of -4,470. The net inflow/outflow wallet indicator counts the number of wallets involved in deposits and withdrawals, not the volume of XRP moved.
Large-scale withdrawal trends varied across exchanges. On Binance, transactions exceeding 1 million XRP accounted for 55.3% of the total daily XRP withdrawals on August 3, the highest proportion since June 30. On Coinbase, the proportion of transactions over 1 million XRP decreased from 36% on July 2 to 15% on August 3. Conversely, the proportion of transactions between 100,000 and 1 million XRP increased by 20.8 percentage points, from approximately 35% on June 1 to 55.8% on August 3.
Despite increased exchange withdrawals, technical weakness persisted. XRP traded below its 20-day exponential moving average of $1.0838, its 50-day moving average of $1.1163, and its 100-day moving average of $1.1971. The Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) histogram also turned negative. $1.05-$1.06 is a key support zone, and a break below $1.02 would increase the risk of further decline. For a rebound, XRP needs to consecutively break above $1.13-$1.14 and $1.1971.
