Shaw Walters, co-founder of the open-source AI agent operating system ELIZAOS, announced via his X that "the ELIZAOS token is completely finished, and the foundation is also in the process of dissolution." He added, "I hold the IP (intellectual property rights), so I plan to start over from scratch, and there will be no re-linking of tokens to Eliza in the future." He lamented, "I was so immersed in coding that I developed frozen shoulder, and I suffered serious health problems due to overwork, but I was always criticized for being insufficient. We created wonderful things, but all our achievements were disregarded just because of the token price drop. I even received accusations of being a scammer." He further emphasized, "Personally, I have never sold AI16Z (the predecessor of ELIZAOS) tokens even once, nor have I made money through projects other than a reasonable salary. At one point, the value of AI16Z in my wallet rose to $25 million, and I could have sold it, but I didn't, and eventually, the balance became zero." He also criticized, "I will not return until the culture of the cryptocurrency industry matures. Currently, cryptocurrency is complete garbage, and I am bearish on this market." Meanwhile, ELIZAOS, rebranded from AI16Z, is currently trading at approximately $0.0003499, and its FDV (Fully Diluted Valuation), which had risen to approximately $2.6 billion in early 2025, is now around $3.85 million.
