According to Russia's TASS news agency, a recent survey conducted by Russia's largest search engine, Rambler, targeting over 2,000 users, found that 69% of respondents said they 'have no idea about the use cases even after cryptocurrency legalization.' Half of the respondents also stated that they do not use cryptocurrencies and therefore have no idea how legalization will affect their lives, and only 6% said they became interested in learning about cryptocurrencies after the news of legalization. Furthermore, only 6% of respondents were well-versed in cryptocurrencies and had direct trading experience. Meanwhile, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a regulatory bill to incorporate the cryptocurrency market into the institutional framework, and regulations related to key provisions are expected to take effect from September 1 (local time).
