CoinDesk reported that a specific address identified as belonging to the cryptocurrency hardware wallet Coldcard hacker is turning into a 'scribble pad' for victims and opportunists. Previously, multiple on-chain analysts, including Galaxy Research, identified a wallet address starting with 'bc1qq8' as belonging to the hacker. Currently, approximately $36 million worth of BTC is stored in this wallet, and victims are using Bitcoin's OP_RETURN function to leave appeal messages saying, 'Please return at least some.' Along with this, illegal proposals such as 'I can help with money laundering' and unrelated donation requests like 'Please send just 1 BTC' are also continuously appearing. Meanwhile, it is known that over $100 million worth of BTC was stolen in this Coldcard hack, and Galaxy Research estimated that the scale of the damage could increase to up to 2,055 BTC.
