U.Today reported that former SEC Chairman Jay Clayton, known for filing a lawsuit against Ripple for selling unregistered securities on his last day in office, has officially taken office as Director of National Intelligence. In late December 2020, the SEC filed a lawsuit against Ripple, and Jay Clayton's successor, Gary Gensler, continued to lead the case.
