Xinhua News Agency reported that Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced in a statement on the 28th that it had struck the US airbase that launched an attack, after US forces carried out an airstrike on an area outside Bandar Abbas in the early hours of the same day.
