Xinhua News Agency reported that Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Baghaei stated on the 23rd (local time) that after several weeks of dialogue, "the positions of both sides are progressing towards greater alignment," and that they are currently in the final stages of finalizing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the United States.
