Digital Asset reported that the government discussed the monitoring of cross-border transfers of virtual assets (digital assets) and emphasized close cooperation among relevant institutions, including the Bank of Korea. Heo Jang, the Second Vice Minister of Economy and Finance, held the 'Foreign Exchange Soundness Council and MSCI Developed Market Index Inclusion Promotion TF' at the Seoul Federation of Banks building on the 21st. Attendees at this meeting included the Ministry of Economy and Finance, the Bank of Korea, the Financial Services Commission, the Financial Supervisory Service, Korea Exchange, and Korea Securities Depository, who reviewed the implementation status of the 'Comprehensive Roadmap for Foreign Exchange and Capital Market for MSCI Developed Market Index Inclusion' announced in January and discussed future plans.
