Axios reported, citing anonymous sources, that U.S. President Donald Trump, in a call with Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu, mentioned that the U.S. and Iran are drafting a letter of intent that they could jointly sign. The letter of intent is said to contain provisions for starting 30 days of additional negotiations on issues such as an end of war and discussions related to Iran's nuclear program, and the opening of the Strait of Hormuz.
