Within minutes of the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) releasing its Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP) files, also known as alien files, the cumulative trading volume on Polymarket related to the topic exceeded $33 million. The DoD released its first UAP file last week following President Donald Trump's directive for transparency. As a result, Polymarket traders are predicting an 18% chance that the U.S. will disclose clear information regarding the existence of alien life by the end of the year.
