Amid reports that the BTC price in the neobank Revolut app was displayed at around 2 cents, Revolut stated that "the price error was due to an issue with a third-party service provider that has not yet been specifically identified." According to Decrypt, the company explained, "The issue has already been resolved, and the current price reflects market conditions," adding, "Further details on the cause of the third-party service provider's service disruption are currently under review." It is unknown whether actual trades were executed at that price.
