Mantle (MNT) DAO has approved a funding support plan of up to 30,000 ETH (approximately $68 million) to address the Aave (AAVE) liquidity issues arising from the rsETH hacking incident. With this approval, the Mantle Foundation will proceed with providing support to Aave by lending ETH. Previously, an attacker deposited 89,567 unsecured rsETH and borrowed approximately $190 million worth of WETH, wstETH, and stablecoins, which is estimated to have caused up to $230 million in damages.
