Nathan McCauley, CEO of cryptocurrency custody and banking firm Anchorage Digital, announced that numerous financial institutions and big tech companies are preparing to issue their own stablecoins. According to CoinDesk, he stated at the Consensus event in Miami, "Since the passage of the GENIUS Act (Stablecoin Regulation Act), Anchorage has won most of the major stablecoin issuance projects. Currently, about 12 to 20 institutions and large big tech companies are preparing to issue stablecoins with us. Banks are showing interest in issuing stablecoins to achieve specific financial objectives, and existing stablecoin operators are also pushing to expand their own distribution channels."
