According to BeInCrypto, Telegram founder Pavel Durov claimed that the TON network's transaction processing speed is approximately 6000 times faster than Bitcoin (BTC). According to him, the TON network takes about 0.6 seconds for final transaction confirmation, while Bitcoin takes about 1 hour, and Ethereum (ETH) takes about 13 minutes. These figures were measured after TON's Catchain 2.0 upgrade, and the block generation time is said to have been reduced to approximately 400 milliseconds (ms).
