According to a report by the Iranian Students' News Agency (ISNA) on the 4th (local time), in response to US President Trump's plan to free vessels isolated in the Strait of Hormuz, Ebrahim Rezaei, spokesperson for the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee of the Iranian Parliament, stated, "To reopen the Strait of Hormuz, [they] must either admit defeat and recognize Iran's dominance over the strait through an agreement, or return to the battlefield and face additional consequences."
