Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister Araghchi stated that the situation in the Strait of Hormuz clearly demonstrates that a political crisis cannot be resolved by military means. He emphasized that negotiations are progressing amidst Pakistan's active mediation efforts, and the United States must be vigilant not to fall back into a quagmire by forces with impure intentions, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) is likewise. Araghchi also criticized the US 'Freedom Plan' as "nothing more than a plan that creates a stalemate."
