Geopolitical tensions stemming from the ongoing blockade between the United States and Iran are exerting downward pressure on the cryptocurrency-related stock market.
According to the crypto media outlet Coingape on April 30 (local time), with the U.S. government seizing approximately $500 million in Iranian virtual assets, the price outlook for major stocks such as Circle (CRCL), Bitmine (BMNR), and Strategy (MSTR) is becoming uncertain.
Strategy (MSTR) shows a structure where its stock price is linked to its Bitcoin (BTC) holdings, currently trading around $158.19. As military uncertainty in the Middle East makes it difficult for Bitcoin prices to secure support levels, caution regarding further adjustments in Strategy's stock price is also spreading.
Despite recent news of large-scale Ethereum (ETH) accumulation, Bitmine (BMNR) has fallen to around $20.66 due to a confluence of external variables. Circle (CRCL) is also showing weakness around $92.47, reflecting the impact of reduced market liquidity and increased risk aversion sentiment during its listing preparation process.
Market experts analyzed that the prolonged conflict between the U.S. and Iran could lead to rising energy prices and a flight from risky assets, thereby deteriorating the profitability of cryptocurrency-related companies. As long as international geopolitical instability persists, macroeconomic conditions and geopolitical variables are expected to drive stock price movements more than individual company performance indicators.
Major cryptocurrency-related companies are responding to market volatility by focusing on improving capital efficiency and risk management. Until geopolitical blockade measures are resolved and uncertainty is removed, investors should maintain a conservative stance and confirm whether key support levels are held.
